We have Rossi, guide dog puppy, staying for the bank holiday weekend ~ he's a big lad! Tatze thinks he's the bees knees.

Today we see Twiglet's bags packed and ready. She is off to Big School tomorrow to begin her training to become a fully fledged guide dog. Go well lovely girl, work hard and play lots!

Today's photo sees the return of the snoozing pooches.
Chaos continues as OH prepares for his big bike ride.
The roses are glorious, I have included a close up.
The book on the counter is 'Career of evil' by Robert Galbraith (J K Rowling). I started reading it but didn't enjoy it at all ~ miserable, negative, no likeable characters at all, rather like her last book. OH is reading it, he will read anything!

It's a warm, windy day today ~ the sun is trying but not succeeding yet.
Twiglet is panting because she's just returned from a long walk.
It's a work afternoon for me so my bags are packed and ready. I am retired but teach art one afternoon a week in a primary school ~ it keeps my brain alive!

In today's photo roses have replaced the daffs. How much do I spend a year on flowers? Good question! The daffs were £1 and the roses £3. Maybe I'll start keeping a running total.
On the breakfast bar can be seen a variety of bottles containing bike cleaning equipment. OH is preparing for a coast to coast USA bike ride, great excitement for him!
It's hot and very windy weather - great for drying washing. The dogs are, as usual, having their afternoon snooze.

Today we have evidence of a week's holiday in Majorca - suitcases and no dogs!
